Graphical Error in insructions:
a. On page 12, step 15, the red arrow extending from the bottom blue
metallic Connector to the dark gray granite Rod just above the #15 (the gray
speckled Rod) should really extend from that blue metallic Connector to the
dark gray granite Rod just above it:

2) Alternative power source for Electronic Arcade's Scoreboard:
a. In order to utilize this option, you will need to obtain a 6 volt,
AC/DC, 1000 milliamp transformer from your local electronics retailer. On
page 5, of the instruction book for the Electronic Arcade, reference is made
to obtaining a 6 volt adapter. The item you are looking for may be referred
to as a Power Adapter but should definitely be a 1000 milliamp adapter or
transformer. The input on the item should be 120 VAC, 60Hz and the output
should be 6 volt DC, 1000milliamp or 1 amp.
3) I've installed the 4 C batteries and assembled my model but the Scoreboard
a. Have you turned the Power Switch on the left-hand side of the Scoreboard
to the ON position (Up) and then pushed the black Start/Reset button on the
front of the Scoreboard (above the Player 1 green light)?
b. If you have done a) with no response, check to be sure the
3 sections of your Gameboard are firmly joined. To do this press firmly on the
top and bottom of each joint so the 3 sections make a good connection.
c. If a) and b) do not work, give us a call at 1-(800)-KID-KNEX
between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, EST and we would be happy to help with the problem.
4) My Flippers keep getting stuck:
a. Refer to page 38 and 39 in the instruction book to be sure that your
Flippers are not installed upside-down.
5) My bumpers are installed on the game board; however, when the ball hits
the bumpers the score on the Scoreboard doesn't change:
a. There are 2 different size holes on the game board. The smaller holes
acommodate additional K'NEX Rods to make one of the building challenges shown
on pages 41 and 42. The larger holes are where the Bumpers are placed. You may
have placed plugs in these larger holes on page 8 steps 7 and 8. If you did,
simply unplug the holes to install the Bumpers.
6) My Ball Lift does not operate:
a. Be sure that the long orange Rod shown on page 50 is pressed firmly into
the hole in the Gameboard.
b. Are the bronze Clips on both sides on the red Gears locked into the
Gears? (see page 50).
c. Has the ball run over the black oval Bonus Sensor in order to start
the motor inside the Gameboard.
