Building Help --> Vertical Vengeance Coaster
Video Building Tips:
Orientation of Connectors - Pay close attention to the placement of connections (blue and silver 3D connections). These are very important as you build and may cause problems later in construction if not angled correctly when first placed.
Colors of parts in instructions - pay close attention to the colors (especially the blue metallic and dark gray granite Rods). Be sure to select the correct part.
General Building Tips:
Page 18: Step 32 - This metallic green Rod with attached Connectors does NOT attach to the rest of the structure yet-it should stand out at an angle parallel to the main structure but NOT attached - it appears to attach to the brown Connector but this is an optical illusion based on the structure's angle
Page 22: Be sure to start your construction of the red Rod that runs through the motor with the black End Cap and finish with the orange Rod Lock.
Page 25: Step 50 - Be very careful not to bump Tower 1 after attaching motor assembly. Motor makes Tower 1 very top heavy.
Page 26: Step 52 - Black Rod attaches to blue metallic Connector and should lay flat on the floor when properly placed.
Page 45: Step 80 - Only add the Connectors to the bottom side of the track pieces.
Step 81 - if you are having trouble getting this section of track to stay, leave it until the rest of the track is installed and then connect it last.
Page 55: Step 100 & 101 - Watch the orientation of this track piece as you add it - the track starts to bend backwards from the previously added track pieces at this point.
Page 56: Step 103 and Page 57: Step 105 - In instructions, yellow track appears to run under diagonal black Rod. It actually gets placed over that piece as it runs back through the center of the Tower.
Page 58: Step 107 - In instructions, yellow track appears to run over both diagonal black Rods. It actually gets placed under those pieces as it runs back through the center of the Tower.
Page 61: Step 113 - Be sure to attach the brown Connector into the top black Rod/Connector when adding the track.
Page 64: Step 119 - Be sure to attach the black Rod/Connector to the brown Connector when adding the track.
Page 70: Steps 132 - Be sure to use exactly the correct number of Chain Links (211) and attach them exactly as shown. Your set may contain a few additional Links and adding them may cause the Chain to catch in the gears or run in a choppy, halting motion.
Page 75: Step 141 - If graphic is not fitting properly or stopping the coaster cars as they run, attach it to the Rod in the cube below for a better fit.
