The JCPB decided to use the paperless annual report because it is the most environmentally friendly option available. To create a virtual K'NEX robot, the creators of the report, Stellar Studios, first built it using K'NEX parts. Using the 3-D robot as their model, they were able create the animation you see in the report. K'NEX is highlighted in the credits section of the report for providing the parts for the robot included in this inventive online piece created using both digital media and handcrafted artwork. To view the report, go to http://www.jcpb.com/annualReport/ and select Industry in the left column. Drag the power cord plug to the socket to see the robot work.
