K’NEX sponsored the #88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet which ran in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Race at Dover International Speedway on May 15, 2010.

Jamie McMurray, driver of the K’NEX car, was the winner of the 2010 Daytona 500.
The K’NEX #88 JR Motorsports Chevy started the race in the 23rd position and finished in 3rd place.
K’NEX created a K’NEXman in Jamie McMurray’s likeness which was presented to him at the race and which his crew called “MJ” for Mini Jamie.
