K'NEX® BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER TO ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW
Construction Toy Company Donates $100,000 of Product to Talk Show's "Toys for Tots" Program

Hatfield, PA, December 18, 2006 – On Wednesday, December 13, 2006, K'NEX, one of the world's leading construction toy companies, donated more than $100,000 of K'NEX products to The Ellen Degeneres Show's "Toys for Tots" program. The bubbly talk show host announced the donation on-air, while showing footage of several K'NEX roller coasters in action.

"We are so pleased to be a part of Ellen's "Toys for Tots" program," said Michael Araten, K'NEX President. "K'NEX believes in fostering the imagination and creativity of children; we hope the kids that receive K'NEX building sets through this program will be encouraged to imagine, build and play."

That same day, K'NEX coverage continued on the CBS Early Show. Marianne Szymanski, author of Toy Tips, highlighted the very popular K'NEX Vertical Vengeance Coaster in a segment on "Tip Top Toys" for the holidays. The author and toy expert noted that the impressive building set, measuring over five feet tall when completed, is a great family activity.

The year 2007 promises to be a busy one for K'NEX, with 15th anniversary celebrations, the announcement of the 2007 K'NEXpert Search winner (who will receive a $15,000 savings bond), and the introduction of patent-pending K'NEX Bricks.
