When did you start building with K'NEX?
I started building with K'NEX when I was 4 years old. I built with Kid K'NEX first.
How did you come up with the idea for your winning model?
I like biplanes very much. Every time I hear a plane flying by, I would go and look up in the sky to watch it. I wanted to have my own biplane built out of K'NEX.
What has been your most challenging K'NEX creation?
My most challenging K'NEX creation was my biplane.
Do you have a favorite past K'NEXpert? If so, who?
Yes, my favorite past K'NEXpert is my brother Alex for 2010. He built Eureka the Mars Rover.
How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender(s)?
I have one brother. He is 9 years old.
Do they build with K'NEX too? Do you build models together?
He surely does. Yes, we sometimes build animals and planes then play with them together.
What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K'NEX)?
I like reading and talking with my brother. I also like biking, jumping on the trampoline, and swinging among the monkey bars.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is language art, because I like working with words. I also like gym time and recess.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a firefighter or a police officer.
What is the coolest part about being a 2012 K'NEXpert?
I get to visit the K'NEX factory and see the machines.
What advice do you have for other kids who want to be K'NEXperts?
Come up with some really cool ideas and work hard. Build, build and build.
