When did you start building with K'NEX?
I got my first Knex set when I was 4 but my fingers weren't strong enough to build with it so I used to watch my mom make the models for me. I was able to start building by myself when I was about 6 years old.
How did you come up with the idea for your winning model?
I was inspired by real roller coasters and I really wanted to make one that I would ride over and over again.
What has been your most challenging K'NEX creation?
My winning model - Hypnosis.
Do you have a favorite past K'NEXpert? If so, who?
Ian who built the dragon.
How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender(s)?
I have a sister she is 15.
Do they build with K'NEX too? Do you build models together?
My sister doesn't build with Knex but she did build for a little while when she was much younger.
What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K'NEX)?
Solving twisty puzzles/ Rubik's cubes, Skiing, Swimming, Riding roller coasters, puzzle building and computer programming
What is your favorite subject in school?
Two way tie between Science and Mathematics
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Either an Engineer or a Computer Programmer.
What is the coolest part about being a 2014 K'NEXpert?
Being invited to visit the Knex HQ and getting my own page on the Knex website.
What advice do you have for other kids who want to be a K'NEXpert?
Don't let the sky be the limit, push through the sky and into outer space, don't let boundaries stop your imagination.
