I began building with Kid K'nex when I was 3 years old
How did you come up with the idea for your winning model?

The Secret Apple tree was hard to support the weight of the apples on the tree limbs.
Do you have a favorite past K'NEXpert? If so, who?
Matthew of 2009, with his Mega Wheel Ball Blaster.
Rachel of 2012 with her Dog house, and Kimber of 2013 with her Fantasy Candy Land
How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender(s)?
Sheryl is 32, Lori is 30, and Matthew is 18
Do they build with K'NEX too? Do you build models together?
Matthew likes to build with K'nex, but we like to build different kinds of models, so I build with my nieces and nephew instead.
What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K'NEX)?
I like making tea, pies, and breads, playing with my friends and relatives, reading, and writing.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Reading and writing and spelling.

What advice do you have for other kids who want to be a K'NEXpert?
Think about the goal before you, and work hard to win the prize set before you. Start early so you can change things along the way. Make a really big plan in your mind because it will probably get smaller as you build!
