Question and Answer: When did you start building with K'NEX?
I started building with K'NEX when I was 3 years old. At first, I started with KID K'NEX and built lots of alien creatures. As I learned how build with the K'NEX pieces, I started using my older brother's K'NEX pieces.
What was your most challenging K'NEX creation?
The Star Tracker 3000 was my most challenging creation. It was very hard because I tried to make it symmetrical and it worked after a few tries.
Where did you come up with the idea for your winning model?
I like Star Wars space ships, so I just thought of K'NEX pieces in my head and I pictured the Star Tracker 3000. And then, I built it.
Do you have a favorite past K'NEXpert, if so who?
I really liked Ian's "Chinese Imperial Dragon". I like everything about it because it looks fun.
How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender?
Judd is my older brother and he is 9 years old.
Do they build with K'NEX too? Do you build models together?
Judd builds with his K'NEX all the time. He is usually building roller-coasters that are all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes we build together. He teaches me how to work with the different pieces. We built a tower together and we even had a catapult challenge.
What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K'NEX)?
I like to build space ships with LEGO, draw pictures and play soccer and basketball with my neighbours. I also like to do head stands all over the house.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I really like Math and Health the best. I like Art and Science too.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a Marine Biologist or a Pizza and Hot-Dog Maker.
What has been the coolest part about being a 2010 K'NEXpert?
I'm excited to get some money for college. My photo gallery page will be full of great surprises. I'm excited to get my prizes and build with new K'NEX pieces.
