When did you start building with K’NEX?
I started building with K’NEX when I was around 4 years old.
How did you come up with the idea for your winning model?
I became very fascinated by ball machines recently, and decided to try and make one.
What has been your most challenging K'NEX creation?
Definitely the Griffinator, one of the hardest and most important parts was getting the lifts to all work consistently.
Do you have a favorite past K’NEXpert? If so, who?
I think they are all brilliant, but if I would choose one it would be Jonathan from 2006.
How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender(s)?
Three, my younger brother is 8, my older sister is 13, and my older brother is 18. Do they build K’NEX too? Do you build models together?Only my younger brother does, and we build together.
What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K’NEX)?
I enjoy building and flying planes with my dad, building paper models as well as plastic models, and sports.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is math.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I would like to be an airplane engineer.
What is the coolest part about being a K’NEXpert?
One of the coolest parts about being a K’NEXpert is getting to know what you’re capable of.
What advice do you have for other kids who want to be a K’NEXpert?
Once you have an idea just go with it, take on the challenge and keep trying.
