This pack contains 4 individual kits - a $100+ savings vs regular retail price. Each building toy consists of 442 parts and pieces that are made from sturdy plastic. These include rubber bands, connectors, cogs, gears, springs, batteries, and a fly-wheel motor. The parts are securely stored in a durable tray with a snap-on lid so that the contents won't spill easily. The pieces are suited for creating 11 types of vehicles, up to four at a time. With the provided instructions and illustrations, students can create complex toys such as a motorized race car, a wind sail, a motorbike, and many more. Each educational classroom kit can be used by 12 students grouped into three to four teams at a time. Made for classroom use, this K'NEX building toy teaches kids about STEM concepts such as Newton's laws of motion, energy transfer, friction, and inertia.
